Clinical capability: credentials and specialty scope
Profiles describe published hospital credentials and relevant academic or specialty platforms: for example tertiary Class A status, a national medical center, a university specialist service or an institution-reported accreditation. These are different kinds of evidence, not interchangeable points in a league table.
We do not award invented stars, cure-rate scores or a “best hospital” label. Select the specific department and clinical team for the individual question; an overall hospital credential does not guarantee suitability or outcomes.
Patient service configuration
An institutional or public-authority source explicitly identifies an international unit or a defined foreign-patient pathway.
The institution describes an integrated international service model. This is a service description, not a higher clinical grade.
Relevant specialist information exists, but a dedicated current international pathway has not been established from the sources used.
These labels concern published configuration, not audited patient satisfaction, response times, language quality or booking success. Insurance must be verified for the individual policy and service.
Cost rating: service-model budget bands
We have not assembled comparable, same-procedure quotations across hospitals. To avoid presenting invented prices, the bands below classify service models only. They do not measure actual price differences, affordability or value for money.
Standard public pathway
Published public tariffs and the chosen specialist channel need confirmation.
International / VIP pathway
Additional service, consultation and room charges may apply.
Private international model
Institution-specific pricing and the full package scope need a written quote.
II–III on a public hospital profile means that ordinary and international/VIP channels can have different charging models. III–IV on a private international profile identifies its international/private service positioning. Neither is a numeric price range or a promise that one hospital costs less than another.
Compare an itemised quote for the same care: consultation, tests, clinician, technique, devices or implants, medicines, pathology, accommodation, rehabilitation and follow-up. Currency, exclusions and change conditions should be explicit.
Sources, limitations and corrections
Each hospital profile links to its institutional or public-authority sources and records a review date. Unverified capabilities are not treated as absent or poor quality. Profiles are public information references; no China Care partnership is implied.
